Large houses and vast empty spaces for a middle class family.

Ludicrous public transport(except for NYC).

Generally clean neighbourhoods (except for some downtowns). Really clean and well maintained roads.

Implementation of the idea of meritocracy(at least in large tech corporate companies) is probably better than any country in the world. Strong anti-discrimination laws. Caste, gender or race based discrimination absent almost

Its Land of immigrants, yet some percent of population hates immigrants.

Immigrants(fist and second gen) building many valuable companies. Can’t imagine an immigrant suceeding in India.

Work life balance way better than in India(from what i’ve been told). Easy to work for 8 hrs a day.

Decent life for workers, even though it is the epicentre of capitalism.
Anyone earning close to minimum wage(20$/hr) in California - 3200/mo can live by comfortably without sacrificing on health and well being. Math:
- rent : 1700$ (if staying with roommate or parter)

Mostly friendly and reasonable people in cities. Had only one racist incident in 4 years.
